The Surrey Rural Partnership sponsors four programme groups to lead on key areas of work for rural Surrey.

Surrey Rural Housing Group
The Surrey Rural Housing Group is a sub group of the Surrey Rural Partnership, its role is to promote, facilitate and support the delivery of affordable rural housing, by
•    Elevating issues to and taking action in conjunction with Surrey Rural Partnership.
•    Lobbying for additional resources for the provision of affordable housing in Surrey
•    Contributing to and shaping housing and planning policy in Surrey, the region and nationally.
•    Sharing good practice in rural housing development
•    Developing and delivering partnership initiatives with the support of the Surrey RHE

Surrey Rural Towns Group
The purpose of the Surrey Rural Towns Group is to support small rural towns across Surrey, to maximise any benefits and opportunities open to them, in particular to manage engagement with the SEEDA Small Rural Towns Programme and to encourage the uptake of the Healthcheck approach.

Rural Access to Services Group
The Rural Access to Services Group is a funding panel overseeing a 3 year funding programme dedicated to Surrey’s rural communities. RASP is a SEEDA programme, and in Surrey there is a delegated pot of funding to fund capital projects in rural communities to improve access to services locally.

Surrey Hills LEADER

LEADER is a five-year £2.5million programme providing funding in and around the Surrey Hills area to
o Increase the Resilience of Surrey's Agriculture;
o Improve the Management & Sustainable Utilisation of Surrey's Woodland;
o Develop Local Produce Supply Chains;
o Enhance Rural Tourism, Heritage and Peri-Urban Links
o Strengthen Surrey's Rural Communities.
